First Real Haircut by Mama

On the tenth, I gave Maire her first haircut. As in, more than just bangs. I was a wreck that afternoon thinking about doing it. Worried I'd cut her hair and all her friends at daycare would make fun of her obviously-done-by-her-mom new 'do. And the I remembered, oh yeah, she's in DAYCARE.

So as soon as I got over my over protective mama bear attitude, I was ready. Sam wholly entertained her, by both talking and laughing and feeding her, as well as satiating her with "Elmo Goes to Grouchland." Thank you, Creators, of Sesame Street, for saving us $50 for a 18-month's old haircut.
I think it turned out well. She seems happy.

And since, I've touched it up a bit (Sam even splurged for REAL hair-cutting scissors *cue desperate fear of accidentally nipping her*) and I seem to have gotten the hang of it.

Have I mentioned lately how AMAZINGLY beautiful her eyes are?! Well, I am. Again. Look at my baby's blues!
