Good-bye My Sweet Girl

Today Misty and I said good-bye to a dear friend and a big part of our family. We had to put Mucha to sleep.



For those who didn't get the chance to meet her, she was simply a loving, always there for you best friend. I was never a cat person before I met her, but she had my heart soon after I moved to NYC. I already miss having her curl up on my lap and meow at me when something wasn't going her way. She'd clean your fingers and make sure you were ok. She wiggled her butt right before she pounced on her woobie, which she would place in her food bowl as soon as you were done playing.

She was a friend, a buddy and a love of my life. I miss you sweet girl and am glad you're watching over us, you will always have a place in our hearts. All my love.

Alas, "Venkman" is Officially Off the Table

So Sam and I are super excited to tell all of you that our little new addition to our family is going to be a healthy and undoubtably feisty and sassy, little GIRL!

And, in my humble-yet-horribly-biased opinion, she's possibly the most beautiful thing ever.




P.S. Please don't write and tell me she could still be a boy. She's not. We know this and are SUPER EXCITED. No raining on parades allowed today. :)

These boots were made for walkin' . . .

Quit my job today after five years of loyal service.

I start my new fancy, shiny job April 2nd ('cause I coudln't bear to start on April Fool's Day - supersticious lot that I am). Rumor is I'll be a fancy muckity muck, or at least that's what my designer told me this morning when I told him about me leaving and what my new job will be.

"Fancy Muckity Muck" - I'll take it!

Everything is changing . . .all for the better. I'm excited and thrilled and absolutely terrifed, just like I should be.
